Vlad and the Impalers

When 15th-century warlord Vlad the Impaler tries to rebrand himself as a glam-rock star for a Eurovision-style song contest, his jealous brother plans to sabotage the show—and steal his throne.

It’s the 15th century, and Vlad the Impaler is having a full-blown identity crisis. He’s sick of his "Impaler" brand. He’s a warlord, sure, but he’s also a deeply theatrical glam-rocker at heart who just wants to be adored. His secret lover and manager, Istvan, can barely control him.

Vlad’s solution? A complete PR rebrand. His chance comes when the King of Bohemia announces "BohemiaVision," a contest that's basically a medieval Eurovision designed to stop all the warring. Vlad decides to enter. He teams up with Justina (a wannabe pop star with her own "Ancient Spice Girls" ) and two punk-rock orphans to form the band "Vlad and the Impalers."

But this bid for pop stardom is complicated by his jealous brother Radu, who launches his own campaign of tabloid headlines and underhanded schemes, plotting to steal the throne for himself.
