SCI-FI MYSTERY
Divide Theory
When a journalist’s search for her missing father leads her to a new over-the-counter sleep aid, she's drawn to her parallel-world counterpart: an ambitious exec whose dreams are not her own. Together, they must unravel a conspiracy that weaponizes dreams to rewrite the fate of both their worlds.
Sarah Davis is haunted by her father's mysterious disappearance; Sam Brennan is a high-powered pharmaceutical executive haunted by dreams that aren't hers. They are “alters,” or, two parts of a single consciousness in parallel worlds. Their lives collide when a new over-the-counter sleep aid triggers a dangerous connection between them, merging their memories and dragging them into a fight for their lives.
Sarah and Sam soon discover this "glitch" is actually a feature: a shadowy collective, stretching all the way to Washington D.C., is weaponizing the drug to extract dreams and control not just minds, but multiple realities. Now struggling to cope with being whole, the two women must unravel the conspiracy that took their father… before that conspiracy decides they're a loose end that needs to be permanently tied.
